The ESU#9 PALLS classrooms located at the Hastings site are made up of children from Adams County, outside of Hastings.
There is a mixture of children who have been verified with a disability as required in Rule 51, and children who have no disabilities. Each classroom is taught by an Early Childhood Special Education teacher with the help and assistance of a speech and language pathologist and a para educator. Classes meet two hours in the morning and different classes meet for two hours in the afternoon on Monday through Thursday. Each class has between eight and twelve children.
