The Hastings Literacy Program (HLP) provides free classes for people sixteen years of age and older.
GED classes are available four times a week to prepare students for the GED exam. English Language Learners are assessed and placed in a class apropriate to their skill level. The classes are fun and educational. HLP also works with individuals wanting to improve basic literacy skills in reading, writing, and math with the help of many dedicated volunteer tutors.
