Early Development Network

This program is governed by the Region 9 Preschool Interagency Council (PIC), which meets monthly and has been in existence since 1988. The goal of this program is to provide parents and families who have a child with a disability access to the highest quality of services

and the whole range of services that they might need.  The PIC works to fill the gaps where services are not available or developed. To qualify for this program, children must be tested by a multi-disciplinary team and qualify using the State's Rule 51. This program primarily works with families whose children are birth through three. The program serves families and children in the 5 1/3 county area of ESU#9, including:

  • Adams
  • Clay
  • Southern Hall
  • Hamilton
  • Nuckolls
  • Webster
